MEGAN MOORE is a Registered Dietitian (R.D.), Licensed Dietitian (L.D.), and Certified Diabetes Educator (C.D.E.). She and her husband formerly lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where Megan also worked for the El Paso County Health Department as the media spokesperson appearing frequently on local television news programs as a nutrition expert. Megan still provides nutrition counseling and meal plans to individuals in Colorado Springs, and other locations in Colorado.
CONSULTING WITH AN R.D. at least three or four times “is recommended to make and sustain truly effective changes in eating habits,” according to the University of Michigan Health System. Read the U-M study, here. Whatever your age, health, weight, or individual goals may be, you can benefit greatly from seeing a knowledgeable Registered Dietitian for nutritional counseling.
Megan has seen hundreds of clients with a wide variety of concerns from weight management or athletic performance to conditions like diabetes (Megan is a Certified Diabetes Educator), celiac disease, and irritable bowel syndrome, and has worked with women suffering with eating disorders. Whether your concern is cholesterol, food allergies, or just energy and long-term health, Megan can give you the nutrition knowledge you need, tailored to your individual circumstances.
Megan can help you get educated about your proper calorie needs, distribution of calories across the day, and your body’s needs for protein, carbohydrates, and fat, all based upon your individual circumstances like your height, weight, age, gender, body fat percentage, activity level, and health goals; utilize a meal plan tailored to your specific individualized nutrition needs; learn science-based nutrition knowledge; and get healthy recipes and cooking tips, along with some accountability, encouragement, and feedback through e-mail communications. Even if you are busy, out of town, or out of state, Megan can provide effective nutrition counseling for you, and tailor a meal plan to your individual needs on a remote basis through telephone and e-mail.
